INSPECTION
Regulation 851 of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) of Ontario requires that a qualified person inspect all lifting devices, no less than annually, and a record kept of the inspection.

An experienced Bison Service Representative and/or Professional Engineer will visually inspect your rigging hardware, slings and custom lifting devices at your site. We will create an inventory list, if one does not exist, of the existing devices including the serial number, plant location and description of the items. Upon completion of the inspection, all repair requirements will be reviewed with the customer contact. Bison is usually capable of immediately proceeding with repairs if a purchase order is issued at that time. A "clean" inspection report would be submitted following the repairs.

When Bison is not authorized to proceed with repairs, the detailed, inspection report, listing the devices, condition and repair recommendations, will be promptly provided in an electronic format for easy record storage and retrieval. We will advise you on setting up and maintaining inspection records and Bison will contact you, in advance of your next inspection due date, to schedule the service time.

Please call our Customer Service Department to discuss your inspection requirements and obtain a quotation.
