Bison Industries Inc. is authorized by the Association of Professional
Engineers of Ontario to offer professional engineering services.
Our experienced Engineering Department provides a wide range of
consulting engineering services related to manufacturing process
improvements; new product testing and validation; lifting equipment
evaluation; failure analysis; accident investigations; training;
inspections; load testing; design reviews; and work station ergonomics.
Our specialty is the design and manufacture of certified tools
and equipment for overhead lifting, material handling or part
manipulation. The success of that process depends on our ability
to accurately assess all of the work task elements. They range
from the obvious to subtle and to the obscure. We have a proven

Our engineering
department is located within our modern, 25,000 square foot
manufacturing facility. Our designers and engineers work with
Autocad and have high-speed internet access for quick and effective
communication and for the transmission of drawings and detailed
technical reports. They make extensive use of digital photography
to effectively record and report information and conditions.
For customers without Autocad, we provide drawings in Adobe
PDF format for easy printing and electronic file storage. We
will apply the seal of a Professional Engineer to hard copies
of drawings. On PDF versions, we include the digital signature
of a Professional Engineer.
Bison's
ISO 9001:2000 certification includes our design and manufacturing
processes. Engineers are responsible for managing a project
from concept through to final inspection and shipment. They
work closely with tradesmen to ensure the highest possible quality
of tool finish and function so that our tools work "right
out of the box". A Professional Engineer signs the Certificate
of Test for each tool and stamps the tool drawing. Both documents,
along with a user guide, are included with the tool shipment.
